Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) provides a powerful experience for "real time" interaction and reflections of successes and challenges.  Horses are sensitive to non-verbal communication and respond to messages they feel from clients in the moment.  The responses from the horses become familiar to the responses experienced from spouses, co-workers, and the way they see themselves.

These sessions take place at Underwood Farm in Nolensville, TN.

Equine Assisted Therapy includes two professionals and horses.  Clients are able to identify strengths and new insights that will enable them to see life's issues from a new perspective.

Horses are very much like humans in that they are social animals and are very sensitive with both verbal and non verbal communication.  The interaction with the horse or horses is on the ground (non-riding).  Clients will be introduced to the horses as an active member of the team.

EAP enables clients to explore and examine their personal values and self worth.
